This December 4th, join Lady Victoria of Essex
in historic downtown Lynden, WA.
Arrive at your leisure! Please park down one of the side streets and not on the main street where the parade will be held. Sometimes, the fair grounds are open for overflow parking.
This quaint little town has lots of charm to offer! Plans include time for a self-guided tour through the shops. You might wish to eat a self-prepared lunch to nibble while tailgating, or check out the eateries (which include a wonderful bakery!) for you to enjoy.

A park on a side street, near the main street through town.
Time:
– Arrive any time after 12 – noon as you please.
– Lunch & shopping from 12 – 5pm-ish
– Place your chair along the parade route during the day!
– Parade begins at 6pm
– You are welcome to stay over at an Air B&B in the area of your choice, if you do not wish to drive home in the dark. Or, travel home again at your leisure.
Cost:
Free! Lady Victoria is meeting with friends of the area and is inviting any “greater Seattle area friends” to join in the fun of Christmas as celebrated by a small, historical town.
What to Wear:
Due to the location of this activity, Lady Victoria strongly encourages you to check weather conditions and DRESS WARMLY!!!!! You will be near Mt. Baker and it can be quite chilly at night. Wear wool, fur, gloves, hat, and bring a blanket to cover your lap during the parade.
What to Bring:
A sense of fun and adventure! This Dutch inspired town is full of charming and welcoming country folk. Bring money to do a little shopping and pamper yourself of a day off!
