2019 Snohomish Tweed Ride

Join in the Autumnal Fun with Lady Victoria of Essex, Historic Downtown Snohomish, and the Snohomish Historical Society this September 21, 2019 (Saturday).

Check in is at the Machias Trailhead Park (very near the town of Snohomish, WA) at 10am.  From there, we will tootle along the historic Centennial Trail (really flat, former railroad rail line, now a walking/biking path), as we go past the pastoral scenes, enjoying each other’s company, and maybe, a wee bit of vintage music.

We will arrive after our short ride, at the Blackman House Museum in downtown Snohomish.  There, we will enjoy refreshments of tea and biscuits (provided by organizers), along with the picnic lunch you are bringing for yourself.  After lunch, there is a “Treasure Hunt” in downtown Snohomish.  I hear it will reap the rewards of a swag bag worth the search!

Organizers would very much appreciate Victorian, Edwardian, War-era, even Steampunk attire.  NO lycra, jeans or modern day attire.  Medals to be handed out for most dapper or dandily attired Ladies/Gents on bicycles.

Will you be attending?  It’s only $15 and should be great fun.  See you there….
