Ideally, everyone attending will be wearing Victorian/Edwardian Summer Whites, day attire.
If you are new to historical costuming and do not yet own “Summer White” attire, we encourage you to wear all white of any era as a dress, so that you will be comfortable with the group and can “fit in” better.
Ladies: Fine fabrics and costumes are always admired, it may be too hot for this type of garment, or you may not wish to subject your gowns to potential grass or dirt stains if you are walking about Be advised…
Remember to bring a parasol in case you choose a location where there is sun.
Gents: White shirt, dark pants (not jeans), perhaps a vest and a straw hat are totally appropriate. Vest and straw hat are not required if you have not yet expanded your wardrobe to include some of these items; do your best to be “evocative of the era.”
